Okey !!! I'm going to cover the best graphics cards you can get in 2021 on a tight budget. If you've been in the market for a graphics card lately, you probably know that it isn't very easy to find a solid GPU for cheap.
I've been researching graphics cards for the past week so I can find the best GPU for you. I'm covering four graphics cards in this video, so watch through the whole video to pick out which GPU suits you the best. Let's get into it. Our first section will be graphics cards that you can buy for $50 brand new. If you're interested in buying pre-owned or used graphics cards for better performance, watch through to the next section. The first GPU I'll cover is the GeForce GT 710 which you can find brand new for $40-50 on Amazon.
This is a great graphics card for many games and has many options through third party brands such as EVGA and ZOTAC. A great card all around and a good purchase if you're looking to get a brand new GPU. For the AMD lovers out there, you can pick up a brand new Radeon HD 5450 on Amazon for just under $50 as well. Both of these graphics cards are very compact and could fit into smaller cases. As for the technical specs, both of these GPUs are sporting 2GB of DDR3 ram and have one each of an HDMI, DVI and VGA port for connecting your monitor.
The GeForce GT 710 has base clock speeds of just under 1 GHz and a memory clock speed of 1.8 Gbps, which can handle all your games on lowered settings. The AMD Radeon HD 5450 has a base clock speed of 650 MHz and memory speeds of 800 Mbps. As you can tell from this comparison, both cards perform very similarly. If you can find a deal on a GeForce GT 730, that will be the best of all three of these GPUs. I was unable to find one below $50 at the time of researching, however the market fluctuates frequently and you could just get lucky. This next section will be all about pre-owned graphics cards.
To preface these cards, if you don't mind running the risks that come with buying a used or pre-owned GPU, you're looking at getting pretty good value for more powerful cards. These may be harder to find though, as you're specifically looking for a deal on an auction site like eBay or Ali Express.
These deals can change over time and may not be the same as when I'm researching this video. The first pre-owned GPU I will talk about is the GTX 650 Ti Boost. This model will dominate games like Fortnite, Overwatch, you name it. It's a great graphics card for budget computers and is currently selling at $52 used on Ali Express. Once again for the AMD people, I tried my best to find a solid pre-owned GPU and landed on the Radeon R9 270. Currently on eBay there are multiple auction listings starting as low as $25. Keeping an eye on these auctions and bidding right could get you a super cheap and powerful GPU. For the specs, the GTX 650 Ti Boost has 1GB and the R9 270 has 2GB of GDDR5 ram. Both GPUs have 2 DVI ports, 1 HDMI, and 1 DisplayPort on the I/O interface. The GTX 650 Ti Boost has a base clock speed of 1 GHz and memory clock speed of 6 Gbps. The R9 270 has a base clock of 900 MHz and a memory clock speed of 5.6 Gbps.
Overall the R9 270 will be the better of the two graphics cards, with the GTX 650 Ti Boost not far behind. If you can find a good deal on either of these cards for $50 or less, you're getting a lot of value for your dollar. No matter which GPU you choose, any of these will get you solid performance on a tight budget. If you found this video helpful, please consider giving it a like and comment below which GPU you chose.
Do keep in mind that the GPU market is rocky right now, so the prices could change frequently. Keep your eye on the market and you will find a good deal.
